1.Even though generators are carefully inspected and tested before leaving the factory, they may still get damp or malfunction after transportation or long-term inactivity. Therefore, a comprehensive inspection should be carried out before use.
2. Use a 50V megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of the winding to ground. When it is cold, it should be greater than 2MΩ. If it is lower than 2MΩ, measures should be taken to dry it; otherwise, it cannot be used. When measuring, the electronic and capacitive components should be short-circuited. Prevent damage. Disconnect the voltage regulator wiring to prevent damage to the voltage regulator during measurement.
3. The installation bolts of the generator and the outlet box, as well as the ends of each wiring strand, should be inspected and tightened without any looseness. The conductive parts should ensure good contact.
4.The generator should be well grounded, and the current-carrying capacity of the grounding wire should be the same as that of the generator's output wire.
5.Before use, it is necessary to be familiar with all the rated parameters on the generator nameplate.
6. For double-bearing generators, the rotor must be turned slowly to ensure there is no rubbing, collision or abnormal noise.
Before leaving the factory, the voltage of the generator has been set to the rated voltage in accordance with the standard requirements and no further adjustment is needed. If the required voltage is inconsistent with the set value, it can be readjust by referring to the voltage regulator manual.
The wiring schematic diagram and various parameters of the voltage regulator need to be adjusted.
Usage: To ensure the normal power generation of the generator, the following must be noted:
1.Before starting the generator, all output switches should be turned off.
2.Increase the rotational speed to the rated speed, raise the terminal voltage to the rated value, and observe its stability. If it is normal, the switch can be closed to supply power. After the load is applied, the speed of the prime mover may change, and the frequency may be lower than the rated frequency. The speed of the prime mover can be adjusted again to the rated frequency.
3. Before shutting down, the load should be cut off first and the machine should be stopped without load.
4.Three-phase generators must pay attention to the balance of three-phase loads or currents to avoid the operation of single-phase loads or the use of severely unbalanced loads, which may cause damage to the generator or voltage regulator.
